Day 7 - Expanding Your Repertoire

Right about now, you should be pretty comfortable with your food choices. If you’re like me, you kind of enjoy the simplicity of knowing exactly which foods to choose from every time you want to grab a bite. However, many people may start to feel “off” at this point and will need to make some changes. Watch this video to see exactly what to look for and how to start feeling good again.

I enjoyed a lovely soup today. Bone broth with miso, vegetables and some fresh bacon sliced on top. Normally I would have put buckwheat noodles, but left them out for the challenge. I didn’t miss them one bit. I was totally satisfied for hours after.

For dinner, I roasted a chicken and served it up with sauerkraut and spinach. I think my body digests chicken as a carb — I’m serious! After I ate, I felt stuffed as if I had just ate a bag of potatoes. Then an hour later, I was starved. Of course maybe I just ate a bit too much vegetable this meal (see picture). I’ll have to test and tweak over the next few days.
