Ken Morehead is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturist who has a lot to say about our relationship with food. In today’s episode of the podcast, we discuss Dr. Morehead’s evolution from vegan to embracing a wide variety of whole foods including animal fats and meat.

We’ll also go into ancient and current applications of Chinese medicine and how the doctor has successfully treated breast disorders ranging from mastitis to breast cancer.

Ken Morehead, founding partner of Oriental Health Solutions, LLC, is a licensed acupuncturist in Durham, NC, licensed as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico, is nationally board certified as an Acupuncture Orthopedist and is one of the first acupuncturists credentialed at Duke Integrative Medicine. He is the past secretary and chairman of the NC State Acupuncture Licensing Board and an advisory board member of the Weston Price Foundation in Washington, D.C. A former member of the New Mexico licensing examination board, Mr. Morehead has lectured in New Mexico, Texas, North Carolina and Washington D.C. He is a certified GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) practitioner.

Mr. Morehead specializes in musculo-skeletal disorders and assists with cancer therapies and kidney disorders.
